LOCTITE Black RTV Silicone Adhesive/Sealant Tube - 80 milliliter features an RTV silicone black adhesive/sealant. It is a black general purpose, indoor, outdoor sealant. It seals, bonds repairs, mends, and secures glass, metal, plastics, fabric, vinyl, weather stripping, and vinyl tops. Protects and repairs electrical wiring. May be applied to horizontal or vertical surfaces. Waterproof and flexible. Temperature range: -80 °F to 450 °F (-62 °C to 232 °C); resists oil, water, weather, vibration, and grease.
- RELIABLE ADHESION: This high temp silicone sealant works on most surfaces, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces). Resists hardening, shrinking & cracking.
- FLEXES WITH MOVEMENT: Enhances load bearing & shock absorbing characteristics of the bond area.
- ENVIRONMENTAL RESISTANCE: Tolerates contamination by oils, water, weather, vibration and grease.
- CONVENIENT CURING: Tack-free in 1 hour. Full-strength in 24 hours.
